Christa Theret
Christa Theret (born 25 June 1991 in Paris) is a French actress.
In 2003, Christa was spotted at the age of 11 in the playground of the Antoine Coysevox secondary school in the 18th arrondissement of Paris by a head of casting and started in cinema in the film Le Couperet by Costa-Gavras, where she played the daughter of José Garcia. In 2007, she portrayed Julie, a goth teenager in the film Et toi, t'es sur qui?, chosen at the Cannes film festival 2007 in the category Un Certain Regard and for the Caméra d'Or.[1] In 2008, she left school at 17 and played in the film Lol by Lisa Azuelos beside Sophie Marceau. From April til June, 2009, she made Le village des ombres, the first work by film-maker Fouad Benhammou. Again, in October, she made Le Mariage de Chiffon, by Jean-Daniel Verhaeghe, film director of Le Grand Meaulnes, fifth episode of the season of Au siècle de Maupassant: Contes et nouvelles du XIXème siècle, envisaged for 2010.
